The host, which can also be identified by the poop emoji is just a regular user, but can mute your microphone and in extreme cases eject people from the room

Usually if people are listening to music/TV/radio, on the telephone, making sounds they don’t realise we can hear them or have fallen asleep and are snoring – so we usually mute their microphones. Some people don’t realise their mic is muted when they enter the room (which in other rooms doesn’t happen) or some people think if they have switched their cam off, that this also switches off their mic, but you have to do both
